to the proposed health assessments for school children in the Berkeley Unified School
District
- Assess the prevalence of metabolic syndrome and the impact of the integrated SLI
program
- Identify potential predictors of response to the SLI intervention that can be targeted
for future large scale school-based health assessments
- Enhance child and parental health literacy
